While fans previously speculated that it could be in May or June, it appears that the Alpha phase could happen next month. Check the Playtesting Schedules weekly, in case dates/times change or update. Players will need to visit the link below in order to sign-up for the Battlefield 2042 Alpha Testing, when the dates become listed. Players should also set up their Playtesting Profile so that they will be ready for when the Alpha Testing takes place. However, it would be beneficial for all interested players to register, if they have not done so. These dates will be revealed on July 22, 2021. Players will be rewarded for participating during the Alpha Testing, as part of an incentive to help make the game better, before it's Beta release. This will make the developers aware of any issues, and allow them to resolve those issues. After they are finished playing, they should report any known issues to EA and or Dice. Players need to document the issues they encounter while playing.
It would be beneficial to report these issues to the developers at the correct point of contact, provided by them. Players should be aware that this is not the final version of the game, and they will encounter possible glitches and bugs within the Alpha version of the game.
